We're looking for an IT Support Technician who will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our 100+ employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud IT systems, cloud infrastructure and information security systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our IT and Information Security teams to deliver exceptional IT and security services that contribute to our company's success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for providing technical support, security support, on-site or remote as needed, to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly and professionally
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in tickets and logs
  • Follow-up and update end-user status and information
  • Configure and deploy laptops for remote users, ensuring seamless connectivity and access to necessary cloud resources
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new employee IT onboarding
  • Collaborate with the IT team to manage Azure and other cloud environments, maintaining security protocols and optimizing system performance
  • Assist in shipping and receiving IT equipment, tracking inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation (asset management)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and cloud network connectivity
  • Conduct system administration tasks, including user account management, software updates, and system backups and restores.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to address more complex technical issues when necessary
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Assist in planning and executing IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and technology enhancements
  • Provide excellent IT onboarding experience along with ongoing customer service and technical guidance to Kalderos end-users, ensuring a positive experience with IT and Information Security services

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Passion for IT Support and interest in owning the function long-term, but willingness to help other security functions as needed
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role, preferably in both Microsoft and Apple environments
  • Experience working with Cloud infrastructure, SaaS and cloud storage environments
  • Strong proficiency in Okta, Jira, Slack, Microsoft Azure, Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Familiarity with network protocols and remote access solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail for managing equipment inventory and documentation
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are a plus

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 base + bonus
