The HR Business Partner, Senior will provide HR support and partner with business leadership and their employees within the assigned functional, business unit or regional team or organization(s). The key responsibilities are to assist in development and execution of HR programs and processes that build organizational and leadership capability. Candidates must demonstrate and apply their expertise across several strategic HR areas including organization design, talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, labor law/compliance, training, compensation, benefits, HR metrics and analytics, HR processes, policies, and systems.
This is a hybrid role in our Lincolnshire, IL office.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partners with business leaders to understand the strategic direction and operation of the organization; Helps the organization to identify and implement solutions to support high performing teams
  • Coaches or directs leaders in effective performance management to course-correct the performance of any employee whose execution results or behaviors do not meet or minimally meet expectations, supporting performance improvement plans
  • Champions the organization's values and culture.
  • Facilitates talent review process and follow-up actions for assigned business partners, including the identification and planning for employee individual development plans.
  • Collaborates with other members of the global HR community including HR business partners and HR Centers of Excellence (COE).
  • Assists HR leadership in assessing effectiveness of organizational design (OD) and partner with the business to implement timely and impactful solutions.
  • Act as a key change agent to support and drive any HR programs, practices and company culture initiatives.
  • Coaches’ employees and leaders for development and career planning.
  • Partners with team members in the implementation and execution of talent management, talent acquisition, service delivery and leadership development strategies.
  • Uses HRIS systems to provide relevant insights and metrics to optimize business decisions in the areas of talent management and development, workforce planning, and talent acquisition.
  • Brings together the shared requirements and direction of the talent management process, performance review planning cycle, and pay for performance philosophy with assigned business partners.
  • Participates actively in the selection and succession of talent for key roles and leadership positions.
  • Acts as an advocate for the needs of the client group in design of corporate programs
  • Delivers training (in-person and web based) on HR processes and tools, leadership, and other topics as assigned.
  • Investigation and successful resolution of employee complaints.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field
  • 5 + years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Capable of building effective working relationships with senior management
  • Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to employment practices
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Adaptive and collaborative with colleagues at all levels across international, matrixed organizations
  • Highly motivated, reliable, flexible with a “can do” solutions focused approach
  • Team player who can influence, lead and drive projects -constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate
  • Strong business acumen, customer focus and influencing skills
  • Change agent and results focused
  • Able to present concepts and recommendations to all level of management
  • Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse tasks

Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR or SHRM certification
  • Experience working globally
  • Comfortable working with technology
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule out of Lincolnshire, IL facility or other Zebra location

Salary USD 82500.00 - USD 123700.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
